As electric vehicle sales ramp up, employment in vehicle manufacturing expands, while the consumer costs savings of switching to EVs increases induced green jobs in the economy. As the electric grid grows to support new electric loads from vehicle charging, employment in the construction and maintenance of wind, solar, battery storage, and the electric grid infrastructure increases dramatically.
